KIKO MAKEUP HAUL | Blogmas 2014

Recently, I've been hearing a lot about the makeup brand Kiko and I was desperate to try some products from there. These were the things I ordered.

Colour Shock Long Lasting Eyeshadow- 104 Snappy Brass

OH MY GOD. I literally saw this and freaked out because it was the last one and the colour is so me. It is a very metallic bronze-brassy shade that is so pretty built up and as a wash over the lids. The bleandability is incredible, it glides so smoothly and seamlessly. The long wear is amazing aswel, I have been wearing this for 8 hours a day and it is still as perfect as when I put it on the morning.

Velvet Stick Blush- 04 Cadillac Pink

Another gorgeous product. The pigmentation, bleandability and longwear is amazing and it's really easy to use. The packaging isn't as sleek as the eyeshadow but it's very fun and colourful.

Water Eyeshadow- 208

This is one of the most pigmented shadows I've ever tried. Recently, I've been wearing gold shades a lot more as I think it suits me most. These can be used wet or dry for extra pigmentation.

Automatic Precision Eyeliner and Lipliners - 716 and 502

I really like the concept of these pencils, a twist up pencil with a smudger on the ends. The pigment is very nice aswell. I've also noticed that the packaging is very similar to Mac.

Eye tech Look Eyeshadow Pigment Pen- 104

This is an extremely weird but easy to use product. At the end there is a pigment which you press the built in applicator into. This isn't the best pigment but I love the ease of use that comes with this product.

Kiss Balm- 103 Pink Grapefruit

This smells amazing and moisturises very well. It's not very pigmented but that is expected from a tinted lipbalm. The packaging is great, it's the same colour of the product so it is easy to find.

Street Fashion Eyeshadow Palette- 04 Distinctive Riff

The packaging for this feels a little plasticy but the ombré design on the front is nice. The big highlight shade is my favourite, it's so pigmented! I would never really use the green shadow but nevertheless it's still very pigmented. The rose toned shadow is gorgeous, it has gold undertones aswell.

Fierce Spirit Eyes Brush

This was on sale from an old collection so I'm not sure if you can still get it but it is gorgeous. On one end there is a this brush that I would use for eyeliner and on the other there is a stiff eyeshadow brush which I would use for packing on pigment shadows.

Top 5 Affordable Nude Lipsticks | Blogmas 2014

5. Maybelline Colour Sensational- 710 Sultry Sand | £7.19
I love this lipstick formula, it's very creamy and moisturising. It also stays on for quite a long time. However, the colour isn't my favourite, it's a bit too light for me as it is basically the same colour as my skin tone. But I like to use this as a base under other lipsticks.

ELF Moisturising Lipstick- Party In The Buff | £3.95
The formula is my favorite of the ELF lipsticks because the classic silver lipsticks can be a bit drying. They smell a bit weird but it's not too over whelming. The staying power isn't brilliant but they are so moisturising it doesn't matter.

3. Maybelline Baby Lips- Peach Kiss
This is the perfect 'your lips but better' shade. The pigmentation isn't incredible but it's great for a tinted lip balm. The smell is incredible, and it moisturises pretty well.

2. L'Oreal Colour Riche- 237 Sienna | £6.99
This is like the oldest lipstick I own but I believe it's still available. This is my autumn nude because it's so much darker than the others. The formula is extremely creamy and goes on really smooth. It also lasts ages and is pretty moisturising. I'm not too keen on the scent but it's not terrible.

1. ELF Lipstick- Nostalgic | £1.95
This is my favourite nude ever, because it has a pink undertone. I can't really get away with orange or salmon undertones so this is perfect. The formula can be drying so I always wear a gloss with it but  the staying power is great too. It's also the cheapest one out of them all!

The Winter Edit- Body Butters | Blogmas 2014

It's almost Christmas! With the cold weather upon us again dry skin is usually the norm. A winter essential for me is body butters and these are a few of my favourites.

The Body Shop Body Butters- £5-13
These are probably the most famous body butters on the market. They absorb really quickly and moisturise well. The scent selection is amazing aswell. As you can see, I've collected a few over the years!
Left to right- Passion Fruit, Hemp, Pink Grapefruit, Satsuma, Vineyard Peach, Coconut, Cocoa Butter

Baylis & Harding Body Butters- £3
This has a slightly thinner consistency than the Body Shop one so it is a little bit easier to apply. I have the 'Moroccan Rose' scent. I don't usually like rose scents but this one is not too overwhelming. I couldn't find a link to the rose one but the one below is the same formulation.

Clinique Deep Comfort-£25
On the significantly pricier end, there is the gorgeous Clinque Deep Comfort Body Butter. This is the most intensely moisturising body butter that I own, so when my skin needs a major pick me up I'll use this one. The packaging is heavier and bigger than the others giving it a more luxurious feel.

Christmas Gift Guide- Beauty | Blogmas 2014

This is the first in a little gift guide series I'll be running throughout Blogmas. These are a couple of my favourite Christmas beauty gift sets.

Beauticology Just Desserts Macaron Patisserie
I've got to admit this is the cutest packaging I've ever seen. This set contains a strawberry Body Wash and a raspberry Body Lotion. They both smell incredible!

Lush 'The Night Before Christmas' Gift Box
This box Contains three products, two of my favourites and one that I haven't tried yet. The first product is their famous Christmas Eve bubble bar. This is one of my favourite bubble bars because it isn't too glittery. The next product is the Twilight bath bomb. This smells amazing, like lavender and creates the prettiest colour of purple and blue in the bath. The last product is the Father Christmas bath bomb. I have never tried this but it is described as a festive green and red bath bomb.
